Common Data Elements (CDE)
CDE stands for “Common Data Element.” CDEs are used to standardize the collection of investigational data in order to facilitate comparison of results across studies and more effectively aggregate information into significant metadata results.
The NIH have developed CDEs for a variety of specific conditions. http://www.commondataelements.ninds.nih.gov/General.aspx#tab=Data_Standards
To date no CDEs have been developed for CP
IMPACT for CP will collaborate with interested researchers to develop CDEs for a range of study types in line with the aims of IMPACT for CP
